The old is new again with Pulpsplotation!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, presented for your pleasure--in the center ring--
Teel James Glenn writing as Jack Tunney for the Fightcard Series:
"Can a poor Texan pulp writer survive the bare knuckle brutality of New York? Robert E. ‘Bob’ Howard is forced to find out when he stumbles upon an impromptu match in an alley on his first day in the Big Apple. From there, it is a trip to the circus and a confrontation with a gambling overlord climaxing in a bloody fight to the finish in a squared circle of death…all before landing on the shores of old Ireland, where he will face a strange and ancient danger in a very different circle of bare knuckle justice.

Two fisted tales straight from the days of the pulp excitement, served with a side order of ‘what might have been’ fantasy, as Robert E. Howard – the writer who gave us Conan and Solomon Kane – lives his adventures himself.

Pulp Award winning author Teel James Glenn writing as Jack Tunney takes the readers back to a time that never was for adventures that should have been!

Been a busy couple of months!!!

Hello one and all,
In the intervening time since my last blog I've shot a music video where I choreographed the fights, played a ninja and donned  gorilla costume (with a space helmet) to be the Robot Monster---really! and danced in the big production number as a ninja! A very fun song "Damsel in Distress" and wonderful young talent Rebecca Juliet, who co-wrote the song and did a spectacular job as a 60's era lead singer in the video.

I've also begun work in Romeo and Juliet for the fall and had several story sales, most notably to Encounters magazine, and the anthologies 'Barbarian Crowns," and  "The Devil's Armory."

And my newest book is out-

The new adventures of The Whirlwind! which is published by Pro Se in their Pulp Obscura line! I wrote "The Whirlwind's Nightmare" a tale of rule identity and guilt--and considerably swashbuckling! This is Johnston Mc'Culley's own rip of of Zorro-(he often did several versions of his masked heroes for different magazines) and it was a lifelong dream to be able to write a tale in old Alta California!

My newest title: Sic-Magickal...

Imagine a world where the Germans won WWI in only 11 months- Europe wasn't deviated and a new golden age of science and magick happened--then you have the world of Sci-magickal!

by Teel James Glenn from Gypsy Shadow Publishing

When Jeremy Cross gets his scholarship to the Mabuse School for New Magicks in Germany, he has no idea what he is in for: the only Englishman in the academy, he receives all sorts of ribbing, yet he makes friends. When some of those friends, Elke, Gert and Oswald, come up with a wild scheme to break into the old Castle Godesburg and search for an ancient treasure, he goes along with them. None of them imagine they'll discover an ancient talisman of power or that poor Jeremy will become the victim of ancient magicks so powerful that none of his instructors can control them.

Things go from bad to worse when he becomes the pawn of fellow students in an incredible plan to kill a king and take over an empire. Old school days have never been like this!

Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers- Rock!!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers group last week. Much thanks to my editor at Dark Quest (and GSSW member) Neal Levin for inviting me.
I met some very cool writers and felt absolutely like one of the gang instantly.
I had a very neat conversation with Tom Joyce and he invited me to his blog (that will come) but then went home and wrote a very complimentary and incisive entry about my talk:

The Renfairies have returned!

The sequel to the hit book Queen Morgana & the Renfairies is here!

Once the Fae and mortal worlds lived side by side, then Queen Morgana became unhappy with a mortal hero and closed the passage between the worlds.
For many years the worlds of man and of fae could be breeched only in dreams or where dreams lived in the daylight: Renaissance Faires!
Then the barrier were opened again and the two worlds became as one-that was when things got interesting!
Now gods and ogres, jinn and demons cross into the world of mortal man with alarming regularity!
In this brave new world a farmer makes a wish and his deal with Fithral Mac Tir, the Leprechaun is not what he bargained for, an Englishman attends a party and accepts a terrible gift, a Manhattan bar bouncer throws the wrong little folk out of his pub and an actuary falls in love with a beautiful jinn princess.
Humans beware, when Renfairies attack, danger follows!
